Seeing as this is technically a sequel, Do you perhaps also have or know where I can get Dissolution and also the intro music is an epic banger whats the name of it?
A downloadable game for Windows
Dark Eternal begins in the immediate aftermath of the 'Dissolution Pact', an event that tore apart the fabric of spacetime and sent Zenogias, Ehrix, Sakura, Jeros and Nahla hurdling into unknown dimensions.
Separated and confused, Nahla is rescued by "Brian" and nursed back to health in Northern Nikotha. Mysteriously immune to the dark plague, 'Pesuto'; they begin a journey that will bring Nahla to the heart of her ruined homeland and to the brink of sanity.
Zenogias, now awakened to his true identity, makes a pact with Desala; Travel to the Heiken Seal and restore equilibrium, allowing for the separation of the realms and an end to the existence-erasing phenomenon known as, "Eternal Night".
Follow Zenogias and Nahla's separate journeys as they slowly become intertwined in a complex tapestry of illusion, lies and Betrayl.

From the description, I'm a little unclear - is this a sequel or not?
Yeah it is technically a sequel, as it continues upon my original game "Dissolution", but the story is self-contained and does not require any knowledge of Dissolution to play and understand. Keep in mind Dissolution was only a 14 hour game, where as Dark Eternal is 45-50, so in essence you can think of Dissolution as more of an optional prelude story.
Thanks for the reply. I did have another question - is there a chance of this being uploaded in such a way that I can play it straight from the itch.io application, and not just have the installer sitting in the itch folder? Not a dealbreaker at all, it would just be very slightly more convenient.
I didn't realize the app had an issue running the game, thanks for bringing that to my attention.
I'll research how itch needs me to upload the game in order to run natively in the app and release a patch sometime in the near future.
Good news, it was actually quite a bit easier than I anticipated.
You should now be able to launch the game natively in the app, although you will need to uninstall/reinstall first.
Thanks again for bringing this to my attention!
